I once spent three weeks in the Caribbean perfecting my basketball skills in the sunshine. The sites are safe and secure because they use state of the art encryption, and when you are dealing with reputable operators as I was, it’s very reassuring. Cruises are the ideal way to relax, my job is quite stressful and I clock up a lot of motorway miles so I need a way to de-stress. The best thing about Fred Olsen cruises, for me, was the wide range of activities. I am a young guy, in my thirties and sometime people raise an eyebrow when I tell them how into cruises I am. They think cruising is for the sit-in–a-deckchair brigade, how wrong they are. I like to stay fit and just because I am on holiday doesn’t mean I can let myself go. My job is demanding and tough. I like to work out in the gym, also play some sport in the sunshine and cruises allow me to do that and play a lot of basketball too. Buying online is cheaper because they don’t have the overheads of the high street based firms and by using new technologies they make savings. Because there are lots of operators and they all want to sail with a full ship of revellers and holiday makers, those savings are passed on to the online buyers. Cruise deals are remarkably easy to find and once found are easy to buy too. The cruise operators are all well known and levels of luxury and service are first class.

Floating luxury
Cunard cruises are famous for the sheer luxury of the cruising experience they offer. Staterooms are so elegant and well furnished with every conceivable extra. It’s better still, when you have one of the great, bargain cruise deals on offer and step onboard and into a world of luxury. Your every whim and fancy is catered for and after a couple of days you really don’t want to ever have to go back to your ordinary life. I even bet on and watched basketball games from the states online. I suppose for all the ordinary Joes, like me, it’s a chance to experience the ultimate in a luxury holiday; never mind that you will be set down in some of the most exotic and beautiful places on earth whoever and wherever you sail to. MSC cruises sail to lots of wonderful places and they have a really good name in the business. You can find lots of reviews online to make sure you pick the right cruises for you. Because I travel a lot I use the internet a lot too. I have never had a problem with an online purchase and do not expect to ever have a problem. If it makes it cheaper and easier to book bargain priced cruise deals, bring it on! Until you have tried a cruising holiday you really won’t understand what all the fuss is about. My take on cruising is that, because we all lead ever increasingly stressful lives we need something to make sure we really unwind, cruises do that.

A world of opportunity
Celebrity cruises were new to me a couple of years ago, so I thought, check them out. I had heard about them first in the states at a basketball game, some of the veteran cruisers told me that they have some very special cruises. I cruised on one liner that was a floating art gallery, filled with every sort of artwork. I am no great art buff, but I really enjoyed the cruise deals I booked. It was uplifting to see such beauty throughout the liner. Cruising can give you every sort of experience, from crafts, to art, to hobbies to sport, NCL cruises gave me one of my most relaxing cruising holidays. I was really stressed out at the end of working on a really big contract; I commuted between London and Cumbria. I was absolutely whacked and decided I wanted nothing more than to chill out and have some luxury. What a contrast it was from my everyday grind. Cruise deals were all over the place, but once I made my mind up I booked and it was a really, really relaxing holiday with great food, lovely stateroom and everything I could wish for. Cruising, I have decided is my favourite holiday, I‘ve used Princess cruises too, if you give them a try you will be surprised at how cheap they are.
