The Euroleague is one of the premier basketball leagues in Europe with 24 participating teams from different European countries. These teams are:

The league has started in February 1958 with the official tip off in Brussels and has continued to grow throughout the years. The league was originally created by FIBA and by 2001; the league administration has been transferred to Union of European Leagues of Basketball (UELB). The league has four phases in its tournament format, Regular Season, top 16, quarterfinal and the final four. The league has been making waves in Europe with millions of fans watching the every game of the league. What’s great about the league is that the teams are from different countries so a lot of their fans are fighting for the basketball pride of their individual countries. The league has produced several exceptional basketball players and some of these players have already played in the NBA such as Toni Kukoc, Drazen Petrovic, Vlade Divac and Arvydas Sabonis.
